Emily Ann Youssouf, Former President of the New York City Housing Development Corp Emily Youssouf was appointed President of the New York City Housing Development Corporation (HDC) by Mayor Michael Bloomberg in November 2003. Ms. Youssouf has an extensive investment banking background in housing finance, loan securitization, and structuring innovative financing strategies. Prior to joining HDC, Ms. Youssouf served as the President of Natlis Settlements, LLC, a specialty finance company. Ms. Youssouf has also held various senior positions over a 20 year period at Credit Suisse First Boston, Prudential Securities and Merrill Lynch. Ms. Youssouf began her financial services career at Standard & Poors where she was Vice President of the Tax-Exempt Housing Finance Group. In 2008 she visited Israel with other American women executives in the Real Estate and Construction business. Project Interchange interviewed her at the Beduin Village of Lakia.
